Welcome to the refreshed ' Teaching English and mathematics: Primary' (TEAMP) community. There are three main areas of the TEAMP community website: Activities, Professional Learning and Resources. The seeded content will build as members participate in the range of activities on offer and contribute resources. TEAMP offers teacher in class and online activities.

TEAMP has an online education community focussed on a teaching area of interest of mathematics and English. These communities support teachers the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum with easy access to teachers in-time anywhere online.
There are four main areas of the TEAMP community activity:

Activities include in teacher class and online activities, including webinars, games learning, MAV Active schools program, events and competitions such as 'Calling All Writers' and the 'MTQ' Awards, Early Years and Primary Trails.
ResourcesResources - are online support materials for teachers targeted to English and mathematics for early childhood and primary school levels and includes essential curriculum documents, research, curated online websites and resources, digital eBooks, live and recorded webinars, links, videos and tutorials.
Professional Learning - is a full year program including 'We come to you', professional learning at the MAV's learning centre, Appy hour and English and mathematics specialist events and the TEAMP conference such as the 'Spring into TEAMP Day'.
Community engagement is a valued resource of TEAMP. This will include educators discussing issues in teaching and learning to develop the best student learning outcomes understanding the differentiation within any classroom. There is a TEAMP and teacher blogs, forums, social networking, informal and formal conversations, teacher showcase and illustrations of best practice.
Who is TEAMP community
TEAMP community includes educators who act as community leaders, classroom teachers, parents, subject matter specialists, mathematicians, literacy and language specialists, numeracy and literacy coaches, those who are experienced in social networking and users of digital technologies for learning. Anyone with an interest in the area of early childhood and primary education can join.

Teachers can apply for membership by registering your interest. You will need to provide profile details and areas of interest in the TEAMP community. There are many opportunities to actively participate in the TEAMP online community. Successful communities have a purpose and a need to be part of a community.
